Vignette Hotel By IHG

The Carlton Hotel in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is being transformed into Vignette by IHG, a five-star destination that celebrates modern luxury through the lens of regional identity. While being a project lead at DWP, I was responsible for reimagining the hotel’s interiors to blend refined Arab hospitality with contemporary global sensibilities.

Design Narrative
Rooted elegance. The design draws on the richness of Arabian hospitality, crafting an environment that feels both luxurious and welcoming.
Cultural resonance. Locally inspired textiles, Arabic patterns, and Saudi artwork infuse the interiors with a bold, authentic identity that reflects the region’s artistic heritage.
Minimalist soul. Natural tones and restrained forms create a soothing, homely atmosphere—balancing opulence with quiet familiarity.
Timeless fusion. Traditional motifs are interpreted through a modern lens, resulting in a space that is both visually compelling and culturally immersive.

The result is a sanctuary of refined comfort where guests can enjoy a unique sense of place—grounded in Saudi culture, yet elevated by international design standards.
